STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOR PROBLEM EXPERIENCE
(Teacher as Role Model)
By: Jefri Saputra (2010110032)
It is important to us as an
educator candidate to talk and think how to manage students’ behavior problem.
Aggressive, bullying, and violence is the example of students’ behavior
problem. As my experience in elementary school, I had teacher who always give
violence to student, especially to me. T do not know why he was do like that.
He always hit the students by his
ruler until the ruler was broken. If we were not understood about his material
or we cannot memorize the one of law, we will get it. He just asked us to read
and write the material but never explained it to us. Suddenly, it makes the
student (my friend) do the same way. My friends always do the engage in a gang
fight (tawuran). I believe the statement said that “Teacher is a role model”.
If the teacher do and then the students will do the same way, especially for do
the violence. As the teacher, we must be a good model for our students. Do not
show the behavior which is not appropriate.
