Khoirul Umam’s Reflection

I didn’t feel that MMSEL Course is end, I was very enjoy when I was learning MMSEL with Miss Mima in this semester. Like the title of this Course “Motivation and Management of Students for Effective Learning” (MMSEL), I learnt a lot about Motivation and Management Classroom.  About motivation, I learnt a lot about the motivation’s theories, kind of motivation etc. but which is very important is we learnt how to motivated other people, especially my student when I be a teacher next time. I think when I be a teacher, I will motivated my student, of course for conduct enjoy and comfortable classroom environment, so the effective classroom can realized.

I also can conduct well management classroom management for make effective classroom. We have learnt a lot about classroom management, I inspired by my classmate, what I should do in the first meeting (I am not really sure, from Daz or Putra… I am sorry ya.. guys, hehehe), he gave has suggestion When my group present about “Planning for Effective Classroom Management”. From him, in the first meeting I will gather, may be sit around and make circle, and talk about “first their thinking about mathematics”. And also we will share about the problem when learn mathematics, how they solve the problem, and other tips in learn mathematics. I think this can useful to motivate my student to like to learn mathematics (we know... I think until now still there are many student who don’t like learn Mathematics). 

After motivate them, we can make classrooms agreement. I just will guide them to active involve to make it, we will discuss a lot about this, and also we will discuss about what will we do if we break agreement. I think with this activities beside we motivate and make classroom agreement, we more know my student, so I also know characteristics and need of students. After we know characteristics and need of students, we can conduct the lesson plan, certainly effective lesson plan for effective classroom.  And the very important we make increase the sense of familiarity.
