Well-Managed Classroom

Classroom management is not merely talking about managing the class. This is a complicated term. There are a lot of parts which is included within. However, the teachers should have ability to manage and organize the class. Why! It is because the classroom management will influence the successfulness of teaching and learning process. It means that if the teacher has good ability to manage the class, the class will be effective and well-managed. So, the objective can be easy to achieve.
However, developing well-managed classroom is challenging especially for me, as teacher candidate. It is because I do not have any experience before. So, it means that the experience will influence the classroom management itself. Then, based on reflection during School Experience Program, for making a well-managed classroom, there are some parts that should be concerned, namely:
·         Well-prepared
The teacher has to prepare all tools needed such as rules. The important need is preparing lesson plan. Lesson plan will help the teacher to organize the activities. However, it does not mean that the activities will be strictly. The teacher still should make a comfortable atmosphere. So, the lesson plan is only guidelines for the teacher in doing teaching.
·         Has a good communication with the students
The teacher and the students have are partnership in the class. It means that they have to have a good relationship. Then, to make a good relationship, there should be a good communication. So, the teacher knows what the students want and vice versa.
·         Everyday has to be fresh
Everyday has to be fresh. It means that everyday should be different with the previous lesson. It is because if the process of teaching and learning is always same and monotonous, the students will get bored. So, the teacher should make everyday becomes fresh and new.
·         Tell the students about the expected outcomes
In the process of teaching and learning is unfair if the teacher who only knows the expected outcomes. So, the teacher should inform the students about the expected outcomes itself. It is because if the students know the expected outcomes, they will know what they should do.
