What
I got from MMSEL class was one thing. It is about how to “UNDERSTAND”. The
things that I will implement in my class will about how to understand my
students. Understand them is needed in learning processes. Understand the
problem and then understand how to solve it. Understand them as a human and as
a student. Understand that they need us. Understand that they have need on
their own self. Then the needs are different each other. So I have to
understand those students’ need which is different each other. How to complete
it is my job as a teacher. And Understanding them is my beginning step to
belong in my students’ heart. Because i believe it is an urgent thing that i
need to do first. To understand my students and take their heart, i plan to
take a outside class in first day. If needed, I will take another day to having
class outside the school. (Brings the foods and the drinks, of course)
hahahaha,,,, in the "picnic" class i will talk about the class rules,
what will we do in the 1 year .
I
will make conversation. Just try to make them closer each other or make them
closer with me. I try to know who my children are. Create happy time to create
the class, the rules and the happiness. ^_^. I hope it will make my students
feel comfort in my class. So it will make them motivated to come in my class.
Students are very easy to change the mood to studying, some of them are lack of
motivation and some others have high motivation. Look!!!!! They are different
each other. It is usual problem which came up in the “FIELD” I means the class.
They need to be understood. And I need to know how to make them straight in
line (learning processes). Through first meeting I hope I successfully
get their interest and get their positive expectation so, it will help me to make
them engage deeply in learning in during the semester. After make them
engage in my class, I try to defend my students’ positive expectation. Through
understand the class and manage the class well.
How
about if I got my students in problem behavior? There are a lot of kinds of
problem behavior. And in my opinion every single student has problem. The Kind
student or the naughty has risk to having the problems. I think I need to ready
face any problem anytime. For example, in my experience there is my friend who
has busy parents. That friend has a lot of money from her parent and she has
complete facilities given by her parent. But it is not the problem, the problem
is her parent don’t know that she absent from school much and she was not study
well at school, her friend are the girl Gang in the school, she was impolite. The
fact, she has a lot of problem behavior. If I got my students as “bad” as her,
I will make the communication both with the student and the parent. After I
understand the situation, I will find the source of the problem. From MMSEL
course I know that communication is really important. How I will communicate the student will not
blame them that they are wrong. I thing I will ask them to have conversation
with me and find the problem point of you from them. I also will ask the
parent, about what their children did at home or is that something happens at
home? After I have the situation I will synchronize between students’ and
parents’ answer. I will understand without blaming, and then communicating, I
will do that in any kinds of problem behavior that I will face in the future.
