Knowledge and Experience

Well, one semester I have learnt about Motivation and Management of Students for Effective Learning or we also called that course is MMSEL. In this course, many thing I got, such as knowledge and experience. Talking about knowledge, we have got knowledge about how and analyze students' motivation, such as extrinsic and intrinsic. After that, we got knowledge how to manage students' behavior until we make rules and regulation in classroom.

But, not only about got knowledge but also we got new experience when we want to motivate some people. In this project, my friend and I make a project from problem in this era. Some students know that, mathematics is one of difficult subject in elementary school. This based on our interviewer in "Rumah Belajar Cikoko". They always face on difficult problem in mathematics. They cannot understand about the meaning of that problem.

Then, we decided to make a project with mathematics as our destination. I mean that, we implement our basic knowledge about teaching and learning with visual aids to make they understand about the basic knowledge in mathematics. We have do this project in four times meeting and make a sustainable project. In last meeting, they who is students in fourth grade should make a presentation in front of class and present their knowledge to students who is first until third class.

As long as we do this project, I got many obstacles, such as in time management, and to decide what we must give in class. In time management, we should know that our time in campus always different. I mean every member has different time and activity. We has agreement in our group, if somebody did not come in that time, they must finish the report and dicide the topic for next topic. About the topic what we must give in class, I know this is very difficult, but to solve this problem we must to know what is the basic competence of that class.

This project make me know about the difficult to motivate people in learning. For good project in next time, I think we should consider with time so that there is no obstacle when we want implement our project. Thank you Bu Mima for teaching and inspiring us. :)
