My reflection ^_^

Wow ! Actually I surprised yesterday. I had learned motivation before this class but I just realize that it is very important. We all know that motivation is a desire or willingness to do something because there are goals or a goal that want to be reached. It happened intrinsically and extrinsically. Of course you are known. And As teacher candidate we also need to know that motivation in learning is about students’ willingness to study because they feel something interesting, some academic or nonacademic goals, from outside or inside that they want to reach and something meaningful and worthwhile for them. As a teacher candidate we also have to know that it is very important to be understood. I need to understand it because I need to make sure that my students accept the processes of studying very well because they have those goals. If a learner has not any goals, they won’t do anything because they have nothing to be reached. For example when students are learning about trigonometry but they don’t know what for it is or they don’t like the teacher, they will just come to the class and they are lazy to do the exercises even they are lazy to come. It happens at school, it was my experience as a student and as a teacher.

  Then in MMSEL class I learned that there are two kinds of motivation, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic comes from their self or internally, and extrinsic comes from outside. Although I still confuse about being a teacher or not, but those kinds of motivation make me understand that I’m a teacher candidate. I can be a teacher that influences myself when I’m down or for my friends or my family.  Then I really realize that knowledge that I get here can be applied not only in school but also in the society, family, and my environment. Then I know what I have to do in future to make children are motivated (Because i love the children). It will help me very much.

As a teacher candidate or as a woman who like the children I know that I have to respect the motivations’ cause on children’s’ own. Some child are motivated with environment, friends, goals that want to be reached, and another reasons that can’t be wrote here. Whatever the reasons of their motivation, certainly I learn that I have to try as best as I can do to make them motivated by their own interest.   

Everyone wants to stay in the comfortable place. I do. And if I were a student, I want to study in comfortable classroom. One thing that I got from the first meeting, teacher should manage the classroom well. It will make the students comfort to stay. This is a good combination, motivation and class management in learning teaching processes. Students want to study because of something that they want and comfortable classroom that will make the stay comfortable for study. Classroom is my home and my friends and my teacher are my family. You know what? It inspired me to make my business going well, make my worker stay up and make they feel like in home. And make them motivated for work more and seriously. Hahaha

I hope I will have some business someday, and I will apply this knowledge in it.
