For the last meeting we have told about
Humanistic theories especially Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, The Need for
Self-Determination, and The Need to Preserve Self-Worth. From humanistic theories that we have told, the most talked
is about the Maslow’s Hierarchy of
Needs.
According to Maslow, there are five levels of
human needs, where the lowest
level until the fourth level is called deficiency
needs and the highest level called growth level. Here, I
will not going to explain what deficiency needs and the highest level are, because we had talked about
this.
Talk about human needs, I have an opinion of its own. I do not know whether my opinion conflicting
or not about Maslow’s
Hierarchy of Needs or others opinion.
If I say that human needs is like a circle. Human needs never-ending or never feel enough of.
Not only that, people needs is different each person. There are many factors that cause these differences, such as gender, residence, etc. for example is the people
needs in the city will different with people who live in the village. So, is also the needs of each student needs will different from each other students. One of the challenges a teacher is sometimes they are hard to figure out the needs of each student. Knowing of each student needs is important because these requirements can affect students' motivation to learn.
For the last is about ambiance of this class MMSEL. Overall, The class was very
cheerful and we laughed a lot, because so many interesting stories to be told. I really enjoyed this class and
I think that this course is very important, as a teacher candidate, I have to
know how to motivate my students and also the theories that talks about. It
will help me in doing my profession as well.
