Last week, I have learned
about how to manage classroom. There are many new ideas from my friends and
lecturer. They are inspired me. Every teacher has their own ways to manage
their class. The important thing on
managing class are the students feel comfortable to follow the lesson, teacher
and students are respect each other, students understand about the material and
etc.
For me as teacher candidate,
when I was a teacher, in the first meeting of my class, I will make a classroom
agreement together with my students. Every meeting, I will try to make my
students remember about our classroom agreement. I also ask my students to tell
me if I do not follow the classroom agreement. We will learn together to discipline
with the classroom agreement.
Beside that I will not make
the strictly agreement. For me, the important thing is my students understand
the material, do their assignment and they are active on their attendance list.
I mean that they can drink and eat candy or snack during the class.
I will not allow my students
to late submit their assignment, cheating, smoking and bullying on my class.
So far, those are my ideas to
manage my class. I will always develop and find the other ways to manage my
classroom. J

In general, I like your reflection that is very emphasizing on the usage of classroom agreement as a means to manage the classroom. As an educator candidate I agree that this is very crucial in teaching and learning process. For some teachers, it may take some their teaching time to just disucss with students about some rules and also the consequences of breaking the rules that have already set up together. But, for me,,,when students can deal with the rules and also the consequences of breaking the rules, it will create an atmosphere where each other can respect and responsible with their own words and behaviors.
yes, as what I said before when you can get your classroom management strategy, you will find out that teaching is yet an amusement and your students will excel at learning.
