“Teachers feel happy and do not feel tired after the class”
When Mam Mima asked to us about how to know if the managed
classroom was well or not (in 5 minutes to think the answer)? My answer is “Teachers
feel happy
and do
not feel
tired after the class”. It just
my opinion because I think if the teachers are good at managing
class then they will not feel tired after
the teaching and learning process. However, how to make to
manage well classroom? This was the topic that we have learned this week.
The topic for this week
is about Well-Managed
Classrooms. For learning this topic facilitated by Jepry, Jeni,
Arsy and Himatul. I really helped by their presenting in master the material.
Well, back again in the last
question is how to make to manage well classroom? The point in managing the class is not about the students, the class, or
other aspects, but the teacher. In class, teacher who can control what aspect
that students want to achieve, the expectation, the classroom climate. So, the
teacher must plan well before teaching to make a well managing classroom.
It just informations, according to Thompson
there are 5 characteristics of a well-managed 21st century classroom which are:
1. The physical environment Is
invitational,
2. Students understand the rules and
procedures they are expected to follow,
3. Students are ctively engaged in
the pursuit of knowledge,
4. There Is a persistent tone of
mutual respect,
5. Students
take responsibility for their learning.
For the closing of this
reflections, I have some word like this “Teacher as the main actress/actor in the class, so if the actor plays
good then the audience will feel happy”.
