Actually
during the MMSEL class, I could not concentration well. That is because my
physical condition was not good. In addition, I had just come from Senior high school
to finish my School Experience Program. That was making me more felt tired and disturb
my concentration. But, I know MMSEL class is always making me smile in lesson.
As you known this class consists of much motivation to learn. Not only about
the methods or our lecturer, but the topic in this class is motivation. We have
discussed about how to give students motivation and what kinds of motivation
that students needs to influence their minds during the learning. That is more interesting.
So, for this week I and my friends in group 3
have presented about the influence of the beliefs on motivations to learn and
applying an understanding of learners’ needs in your classroom. Almost forget,
I want to say sorry to my friends in group 3, because I did not join in my
discussion continuously. I hope all of you understand my situation at the time.
I was very sorry and do not want repeat it again. Actually, the material I and
my friends have discussed but do not find the good concept to present. I agreed
to skips the discussion to found the good concept presented. The next I was
busy in my preparation
to teach in SEP and cannot come in my group discussion. But I am so happy
because I can join in excited presentations with KEPO QUIZ. The most
interesting topic that I have understood in my presented is about the influence
of the beliefs on motivation. There are many beliefs that influenced motivation
such as; future outcome (expectation), value, intelligences, capability and attributions.
Another that, from other group I have understood
about goal orientation influence on motivations and motivation in classroom.
Other group also has good creativity when to make their presentation excited. I
never minds before that “presidents selection “and “ Musikalisasi Puisi” will
be a good concept of presentation about motivations. That was SSE with think
out of the box.
So, for the goal orientation I have known the four
reason why goal influence the performance such as; direct our attentions,
energize our effort, increase persistence and promote the development of new knowledge
and strategies. Actually I still confused to differences the means of mastery
goal and perform goal, both of that said related with performance. In addition,
the topic about motivations in classroom that have presented with poem and
story I just found that the students in classroom has different characteristic
and teacher should aware with that. That is my reflection for this week. How
