Motivation from Mathematics Teacher

Motivation is one of part that influences my. In this reflection I want to tell about my mathematics teacher in Junior High School. His name is Suwarto, I called her Pak Warto. I never bored to tell about her. Why? Because, he is made me like Mathematics course. He gave motivation to her students with her way.

When I was 7^th grade, Pak Warto gave me and my friends in class additional course in every week. But, it was not a mandatory. When we learned, I would have a better ability in solving mathematics problems. My mathematics teacher had seen that. So, when my friends need help, he used to ask me to help them. I felt proud to myself and I want to be a good student for her. Besides that, he often called my name to solve mathematics problems in front of class. I think he has gave me self worth motivation all at once self relatedness at that time.

He was gave me self academic motivation too. But, it was not good motivation for me. Why? At that time I has got the high score, he compared me with my friend who got the highest score. Yet, he not satisfied and thought it was not enough for me. When the first time I knew my score I was happy, but when he said my score was bad, I was sad. Actually, he want give me motivation.

   At that time I do not know what he doing is a part of giving motivation. I can reflection about that after I learn MMCEL course. I will never forget how Pak Warto gave me motivation to learn Mathematics. The, I want to be a Mathematics teacher because of her.
